About PodComet

PodComet is a data platform. We federate information that's scattered across many independent sources โ€” pulling it into unified, AI-ready datastores so it can be searched, compared, and understood in one place. The premise is simple: the data people need to make sense of the world already exists, but it's fragmented, inconsistent, and hard to use. We bring it together.

Our first product is EventTracker.

EventTracker

EventTracker is a federated dashboard for the world of prediction markets. These markets have become one of the most interesting real-time signals we have โ€” a live, money-backed read on what people actually believe will happen, across politics, economics, culture, sports, and more. But that signal is split across many separate venues, each with its own data, its own interface, and its own blind spots.

EventTracker unifies them. We aggregate markets from an unusually wide range of venues โ€” broader than any comparable tool โ€” and present them as one coherent, comparable picture: live prices, volumes, cross-venue spreads, money-flow signals, and news, side by side. On top sits an AI layer that lets you ask questions of the whole corpus in plain language.

Our goal is to turn a noisy, fragmented landscape into something an ordinary person can actually read โ€” with the rigor of a research tool, not the gloss of a tip sheet.

What we stand for

Independence. We are not owned by, and not beholden to, any prediction marketplace. We don't run a book, take the other side of anyone's trade, or hold customer funds. That independence is the point โ€” it's what lets us show every venue honestly, side by side, including where they disagree.

Built for retail. The professionals already have private models, data feeds, and back rooms. Everyone else is left guessing. We build for everyone else โ€” the curious, the retail participant, the person who wants to understand a market before forming a view. Our job is to put real research tools in ordinary hands.

Partners, not adversaries. We cooperate with the marketplaces we cover. A healthy, trusted, liquid market is good for everyone โ€” the venues, their users, and us. We aim to bring more people to these markets with genuine understanding, and to support the transparency and integrity that keep them trustworthy.

Unusually wide scope. Most tools cover one venue, or a handful. We cover far more โ€” and we keep adding. Breadth is our edge: the more sources we federate, the clearer and more complete the picture becomes.

Who's behind it

PodComet was co-founded by Tal Ayalon, who serves as CEO. Tal has spent more than two decades as an information-science and knowledge-management professional, much of it inside international organizations โ€” where the daily problem was exactly the one PodComet exists to solve: too much information, scattered across too many systems, in too many incompatible shapes. He holds degrees in law and in library & information science, and is pursuing doctoral research in federated search and schema mapping โ€” the academic foundation EventTracker's technology is built on.

He's joined by a small, distributed team united by one conviction: better access to information helps people make better decisions.
